Based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Driven by curiosity about how economies work.
I am an Aspiring Economist and independent researcher based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with a passion for understanding the forces that shape economies — from monetary policy transmission to the structural realities of labour markets.
I hold a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics from East West University. Since January 2026, I have been working as a Research Assistant at Department of Economics, East West University, under Gazi Quamrul Hasan on applied macroeconomics and empirical energy economics research — applying econometric and statistical methods to applied research.
My research interests lie at the intersection of macroeconomic analysis, time series econometrics, and experimental research. I am particularly drawn to how monetary policy ripples through developing economies, and how social structures shape labour market outcomes in ways standard models often miss.
I am currently pursuing a Data Analyst Professional Certificate — expanding my toolkit alongside my econometric training.
A comprehensive certification covering data cleaning, statistical analysis, data visualisation, SQL, Python for data analysis, and communicating findings to stakeholders. Complements my econometric background with modern industry-standard tools.
